About
Maria Giovanna Bianchi
I started my career at the United Nations as a human rights officer, which gave me great professional and personal satisfaction. It was an opportunity to work with and meet many interesting, and some truly exceptional, people from all over the world. The interest for philosophy and psychology has remained a constant and has guided most of my readings and informal education. When I obtained my Diploma as Jungian Psychoanalyst and Psychotherapist for adults, adolescents and children, I established my private practice as a space not only to solve specific psychological issues but also to help people growing and finding meaning, starting from wherever they are in their lives. It is a place for traditional talk therapy, for sandplay therapy and there is a large playroom for therapy with children. My working experience in the fields of human rights and of psychology continue to converge in most of my academic writings and in my speaking engagements.
